Wednesday Evening walks are starting again in May at 7 pm at Decoy Farm, Old Church Road, Melton, IP13 6DH on the following days:
15/5, 22/5, 29/5, 5/6, 12/6, 10/7, 17/7, 24/7, 31/7, 7/8, 14/8, 21/8, 28/8, 4/9
Poles:
Most of you have got your own poles, for those who haven’t Exel Nordic Walking Poles are available on request and cost around £60.00.
One Way Universal Pads £10.50, Nordic Walking Padholders £7.50
Clothing:
Remember to dress in accordance with the weather. Wet coats need to be small enough to put in your rucksack (no shoulder bags) they can’t be tied around your waist whilst Nordic Walking so your arms are free to use the poles in the correct way. Wear sturdy trainers or lightweight walking shoes. Ensure you have got some water with you and during the summer please ensure the application of sunscreen and a hat.
Notice:
If you decide on the day it’s not problem the only time you have to let me know you are coming is when you require poles or if you are late. Just turn up but make sure the weather is on your side.
